UperfectingU workshops are designed to inspire each participant to develop an understanding of who they are in Christ no matter what situation they are in. Workshops are customized for each topic with a series of specific and unique activities and learning exercises. Through biblical teaching, self-reflection, communication and hands-on exercises our goal is to send each woman/teen away with skills to confront the obstacles, followed by actions to live a life of freedom in Christ.
Adult Women
A New Found Freedom in Jesus (Gal. 5:1)
God would never have us to live in that condition without offering a way to be free. 1 Peter 5:7 urges us to cast all our anxieties on him, because he cares for us. But what does that mean? It means that spiritual freedom from burdens, anxieties and troubles, is a choice. As women of God we must deal with the HOLES that exist in our lives so that we may become WHOLE to walk in the freedom that is rightfully ours. This seminar is designed to remind us of the freedom that we have in Jesus to loosen the bonds of bitterness, anger, sorrow, bad habits and so many other burdens that weight us down. Come and discover how to expose the holes in your life and learn solutions on how to get rid of those holes.
Honoring the Memory of Our Mothers
Great event for Mother's Day! No matter how long ago or how recent it may have been, if you've lost your mother, this workshop is designed to give you an opportunity to share the memories of your mother with other women. “I started this event because of how much I missed my mother; it’s been over 20 years since her death. An idea came to me of how I could celebrate and honor my mother with other women who may be missing their mothers too. This event will help you to share the memory of your mother with other women through her recipes, wisdom, sayings, and more. This is a day of fun, laughter and maybe a few tears but it’s all good because with God, we will survive."
Your Health is Your Ministry
This workshop deals with the core of how you see yourself. Your health is your ministry gets down and dirty we deal with all of the things in your life that most people continue stuffing down in their souls. Even though it looks hidden it shows up on your physical body, and I defiantly can’t leave out emotional bondage that most of us are in. We are all dress up looking good on the outside and on the inside we are broken into many pieces until you attend this 3 hour workshop. We deal with it layer by layer until we get to the core. After the workshop we will start a support group to continue encouraging and supporting one another. If you’re not ready to get real this workshop is NOT for you.

Do you compare yourself to the image of what everyone else thinks you should look like, act like or be?
Do you feel like you’ll never measure up to the beautiful women on the pages of magazines?
Are you being bullied or are you bulling yourself into thinking you are not good enough?
God created you in His image. He sees you as the princess. He created and would never want you to feel
you are not good enough. This workshop is designed to help teenage girls develop their ability to focus
attention on the unique person that God has created them to be through hands on activities, learning
communication skills with other teenage girls, self-esteem exercises and biblical affirmation activities.
Girls will leave with an understanding of what God sees as beautiful as opposed to what the world says
is beautiful.
